Books for Chilema Ecumenical Training Centre
Books are desperately needed for the library, now housed in a small classroom recently converted by MACS. Some of the students who will benefit from this are the women MACS supports each year to take a six month course learning new skills to improve living standards in families and their community.
Mattresses for hospitals and health centres
Your Mattresses gift will help hospitals and clinics to replace worn out mattresses and bedding and make their stay more comfortable for patients.
Contribute towards an Africycle bike for a new ordinand
Bicycles enable clergy to get around their large parishes of scattered villages. Africycles refurbishes robust quality mountain bikes and provides a repair kit and maintenance training for around £100.
School fees donation
MACS bursaries enable students from impoverished families to attend secondary school. School staff committees choose the beneficiaries and progress is monitored termly. A gift of £10 will keep a student at a Community Day Secondary School for a term or contribute towards boarding school fees.
