Mothers were being trained in how to promote good health amongst school girls in targeted areas. This training was enabled through funding from MACS to Seed Sowers International.
The training focused on four objectives and were as follows:
- Enhance education amongst young girls and adolescents
- Promoting reproductive health amongst youth girls and adolescents
- Reducing early pregnancies and early marriages
- Helping young girls with making sanitary pads
Above, soap making and sanitary pads. Mothers were trained in how to make these and to pass the skills on to young girls.
