Over the years MACS has arranged a number of supporters trips to Malawi. These give an opportunity for people to get to know Malawi and see first hand some of the projects funded by MACS. Over a two week period supporters will join in activities linked to MACS projects, learn about Malawi, its customs and people and experience first hand a Malawi welcome.
The trips require a basic level of fitness and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them. The trips are overseen by Trustees of MACS with support from MACS’s Malawi representative.
In August 2025 a group of 11 supporters and one trustee visited Malawi. The visit included learning traditional dancing and songs, working along side women on a training course at Chilema planting, watering and harvesting food; attending a sewing class and visiting a number of villages.
Towards the end of the trip we hosted a party for around 60 people and a thank you for the welcome we had received. If you want more information about future trips please contact info@malawimacs.org
