MACS was involved in a digging a borehole in Sauya Parish, Monkey Bay, at the home of Father Gondwe. The priest had written telling us that women and girls were walking three kilometres to the nearest borehole and that in 2024, during a cholera outbreak, there was some loss of life because of people using dirty water from closer to their village. The installation of this borehole has made a significant difference to the lives of people in the parish.
