BECOME A TRUSTEE FOR MACS
Being a Trustee for MACS is an opportunity to work alongside people in Malawi by responding to a wide range of requests from some of the poorest rural communities. Through the education of children, the training of adults, improved healthcare and support for parishes and communities, we aim to help people change their lives.
Trustees need to be:
Sympathetic to the ideals of MACS.
Willing to devote a minimum of half a day week to the management of the business of MACS.
Confident in the use of email and Word.
Adept in the use of social media
Prepared to become involved in fund-raising projects through applications to grant-making trusts.
Able to attend at least six meetings of the Trustee Board in Central London, held on a Monday afternoons.
Experience of work in Malawi is not necessary but time living in a developing country would be an advantage.
