Clean water for Nkope Hill Mission
The blessing of clean, treated water will soon be enjoyed at Nkope Hill Mission. Renewal of an old pipework system and its extension will bring chlorinated water to the 45 bed Health Centre and the 1286 pupils at the Primary School including the residential unit for 40 blind and low vision pupils. 27 houses for medical and teaching staff are included. The construction of a large concrete tank on Nkope Hill will enable the 167 pupils of the Secondary School to benefit too and enhance the teaching of Science in their new laboratory.
A grant from the White Feather Foundation and the generosity of those who supported our 21st Anniversary Appeal have made this major project possible.
